MY STORY
Meet Coach Fola —
and the heart
behind the work.
Coach Ms. Fola Afolabi, LMSW, is the Founder of FOLAS CREATIVE BUSINESS VENTURES and the creator of Fola’s Creative Coaching. Her work is rooted in a personal journey of rebuilding confidence, strengthening emotional wellness, setting healthy boundaries, and learning to move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
She earned a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State. She is also a Certified Life Coach. Her educational and coaching background informs a compassionate, practical, and strengths-based approach to personal development while maintaining a clear distinction between coaching and clinical mental-health treatment.
Fola began developing the business in 2020 with a vision of creating supportive, accessible resources for individuals who want to build confidence, renew their mindset, establish healthier boundaries, and reconnect with purpose. The public-facing brand, Fola’s Creative Coaching, grew from that vision and is designed to serve adults, men, women, teens, and young adults through educational coaching, digital resources, reflective activities, and faith-informed encouragement.
Her signature framework, The Butterfly Transformational Journey Experience™, uses the stages of a butterfly to represent personal growth: Awaken, Discover, Transform, and Live. The oak tree represents rooted strength and steady growth, while the acorn represents small beginnings and the potential already present within each person.
Fola believes that transformation begins with the individual. Coaching can offer structure, encouragement, practical tools, education, and accountability, but meaningful change develops through the person’s own choices, reflection, effort, practice, and follow-through. This principle is central to the website, products, interactive experiences, and customer communications.
Her work is gently faith-informed and reflects themes of renewal, hope, purpose, resilience, and responsible personal growth. Scripture may be included as encouragement, but it must never be presented as a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or treatment by a qualified professional.
“I don’t believe you need to become someone else. I believe you need room to discover the best in you.”
